Tacktick T038 Speed Depth & Wind
The T038 system is said to be ideal for all cruising yachts and includes a wireless wind transmitter, individual speed, depth and wind displays, and a combined tri-ducer and hull transmitter for wireless data transfer.
"Whether replacing existing instruments or a new-build installation, the wireless data transfer ensures all the instruments are simple to install and may be self-installed in a matter of hours saving considerable costs," says Coursemaster. "No wires down the mast or through the deck, three screws for the wind transducer, and 12V power is only required for the displays and hull transmitter."
The T038 displays have large 38mm readouts, backlit for night and are said to be completely waterproof to 10m ensuring no condensation.
For cruising installations, Coursemaster said adding the Wireless Interface T122 offers the ability to integrate other marine electronics into this Micronet instrument range. Compatible with instruments using NMEA language and offering two inputs and one output, the Interface collects data from an autopilot, GPS, chartplotter, or PDA and transmits wirelessly to the displays. Plugged into an onboard PC, the T122 can send and receive information so that navigation and tactical software can be displayed anywhere on deck.
